Ron Victor, ASA
Areas of specialization: construction industry, petrochemical plants, production facilities, fabrication shops and retail and commercial inventories.
Ron has been active in the oilfield industry for over 35 years, including working in his family's oilfield trucking/rental company and working as a roughneck in the drilling and service rig industry.
He graduated from the World Wide Auctioneering College in Iowa in 1983, and has been conducting industrial auctions and appraisals since 1987. In 2008 Ron earned his ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers.
He holds a private pilot’s license and a commercial helicopter license.
Marc-Antoine Martel, ASA
Areas of specialization: mining industry, construction industry, and transportation industry, depreciation industry charts, normal useful life calculations, US exchange rate impact on assets studies, appraisal review reports for financial institutions.
Marc earned his ASA designation in 2003 and has over 16 years of experience doing appraisals. Marc’s appraisal-related articles have been published by the American Society of Appraisers.
Marc is based in Montreal.
Jack Beckwith, ASA
Areas of specialization: machinery and equipment in the construction, oilfield, aviation, retail, health care, fabrication, and printing industries.
Jack has over 30 years of remarketing and appraisal experience. He earned his ASA designation in 1998.
He has published numerous articles on various valuation topics in San Antonio Medicine, The M&TS Journal, and the ASA Professional. His career has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
Jack is based in San Antonio, Texas.
Shawn Erick
Areas of specialization: oilfield tools and field support for all types of operations.
Shawn has over 30 years of experience in the oilfied and is currently involved with field support, supply completion, tubing, isolation, setting tools, fishing equipment, drilling motors. Shawn has experience in day-to-day operations of equipment purchasing and design from the NWT to Turkey. as far away as Istanbul and the NWT.
Shawn has experience with estimating fair values on shale, abandonment and disposal wells.
Gary Laidlaw, Dip Ag, CPPA
Areas of specialization: Transportation, Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Retail facilities.
Gary grew up on a family farm in Manitoba and received his Diploma in Agriculture from the U of M in 1976. Worked in the farm implement industry for 15 years as a territorial manager. For 8 years, Gary was the Asset Manager for National Leasing where he developed residual equipment programs, remarketed off lease and repossessed assets and built up a remarketing network across Canada. He received Canadian Personal Property Appraisals designation in 2003 and his been active in appraisals for 17 years. Gary is involved in conducting Liquidation and Auction Sales ranging from Manufacturing, Industrial, Retail and Wholesale Suppliers.
Gary is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba
Brad Harper, Dip Ag, CPPA
Areas of specialization: oil and gas industry, forestry industry, downhole tooling, wireline.
Brad is accredited by the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group and has been involved in the wireline field of the oil and gas industry for over 26 years. He has conducted numerous asset verification and tooling inventory projects since 2007.
Brad has owned and operated his own wireline service company, and currently is involved in wireline special project consulting throughout Western Canada, Canadian Arctic, and the U.S.
Darcy Cornock
Areas of specialization: fixed wing and rotary aircraft such as Bell, Robinson, Astar, and Hughes.
Darcy has been active in the aircraft industry since 1988. His career path included operating an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certified facility, and travelling worldwide to perform aircraft appraisals and mechanical inspections for airworthiness.
